Some synchronization strategies for a four-scroll chaotic system

Abstract

The synchronization of a four-scroll chaotic system via nonlinear control and adaptive method are investigated in this paper. For nonlinear control method, six kinds of different controllers are designed, which can be viewed as an improvement and enrichment to the existing result [Zhang Qunjiao, Lu J. Chaos, Solitons & Fractals 2008;37:175–9]. Then, we investigate the adaptive synchronization of the system with fully and partly unknown parameters, six kinds of strategies are proposed for each case. Finally, Numerical simulations are provided to show the effectiveness and advantage of our method.
