Abstract

•This paper examines salespeople’s environmentally-friendly behavior.•Salespeople’s green hotel recommendation behavior is investigated.•Salespeople’s environmental concern affects their recommendation behavior.•Salespeople’s green hotel knowledge moderates their recommendation behavior.
