Die (Super-)Effizienz von volkswirtschaftlichen Fakultäten

Abstract

Der Artikel untersucht die (Super-)Effizienz von 188 volkswirtschaftlichen Fakultäten weltweit auf Basis von Daten von RePEc. Als Input dient die Anzahl der Mitarbeiter gemessen in Vollzeitäquivalenten einer Fakultät. Der Output wird als zwei Hauptkomponenten, die die Informationen von 30 bibliometrischen Rankings kondensieren, definiert. Es zeigt sich, dass es einige super-effiziente Fakultäten gibt, die eine deutlich höhere Produktivität als ihre Konkurrenten aufweisen; deutschsprachige Fakultäten sind nicht darunter.
