Voraussetzungen für eine effektive Bankenunion

Abstract

Unter dem Zeitdruck der zu Ende gehenden Legislaturperiode hat das Europäische Parlament Mitte April Verordnungen und Richtlinien zur Bankenunion beschlossen, die einen entscheidenden Meilenstein zur Sicherung der Finanzstabilität im Euroraum markieren. Franz-Christoph Zeitler, ehem. Vizepräsident der Deutschen Bundesbank und Honorarprofessor der Universität Augsburg, stellt in seinem Kommentar die seiner Meinung nach notwendigen Voraussetzungen für das Gelingen einer effektiven Bankenunion vor.
