Widersprüchliche Signale zur Entwicklung der Ausrüstungsinvestitionen – geringes Leasingwachstum

Abstract

Nach den Ergebnissen der neuesten ifo Konjunkturumfrage im Leasingsektor werden die Investitionen der Leasinggesellschaften 2012, trotz eines vielversprechenden Starts in den ersten Monaten des Jahres, nur sehr moderat zunehmen. Im Jahresdurchschnitt wird im Neugeschäft mit Mobilien ein Wachstum von 0,5% auf rund 47,2 Mrd. Euro generiert werden können. Der auf den Lagebeurteilungen der Leasinggesellschaften basierende Investitionsindikator signalisiert einen nominalen Rückgang der Ausrüstungsinvestitionen einschließlich der sonstigen Anlagen von rund 3% im Jahr 2012 und noch ein kräftiges Minus für 2013. Obwohl die Finanzierungsbedingungen unverändert gut sind, halten sich die Unternehmen mit Investitionen in Maschinen, Geräte und Fahrzeuge offenbar zurück. Dementsprechend ist die vorhandene Maschinenkapazität zurzeit mehr als ausreichend, um die wenig dynamische Nachfrage zu befriedigen. Seit einem Jahr sinkt die Kapazitätsauslastung in der Industrie und ist seit dem Herbst 2012 auch leicht unterdurchschnittlich. Der Auslastungsgrad der Maschinen und Geräte lag im Oktober 2012 mit 81,4% um fast 3½ Prozentpunkte unter dem Vorjahreswert.
