Die Neuordnung der Studienfinanzierung in Großbritannien

Abstract

Am 9. Dezember 2010 beschloss das britische Unterhaus, die bisherige Obergrenze der Studiengebühren, die die Universitäten in England und Wales pro Jahr erheben dürfen, anzuheben. Seit der Einführung der Gebühren im Jahr 1998 stieg damit der Betrag auf das Neunfache des ursprünglichen Wertes. Der Beitrag gibt einen detaillierten Überblick über das Konzept der britischen Regierung zu den Studiengebühren und zeigt die entsprechenden Bestimmungen in anderen europäischen Ländern auf.
