ifo Geschäftsklima und Produktionsindex im verarbeitenden Gewerbe

Abstract

Das ifo Geschäftsklima ist ein stark beachteter Indikator für die konjunkturelle Situation in Deutschland. Er wird für die qualitative Analyse des Konjunkturverlaufs und unter Zuhilfenahme verschiedener statistisch-mathematischer Verfahren auch für die quantitative Prognose der Wirtschaftsentwicklung verwendet. In diesem Beitrag werden einige Aspekte beleuchtet, die für die erstgenannte Zielsetzung, der qualitativen Konjunkturanalyse, von Bedeutung sind.
