Hizmetkâr Liderlik ile Örgütsel Ba§llk Arasndaki li³ki Üzerine Bir Çal³ma

Abstract

Bu çalışmada hizmetkâr liderlik ile örgütsel başlık arasındaki ilişki uygulamalı bir çalışma ile ele alınmıştır. 1970 yılında Greenleaf ile akademik hayata giren yeni nesil liderlik anlayışlarından birisi olan hizmetkâr liderlik ile yönetimin önemli bir konusu olan örgütsel bağlılık arasındaki ilişki kamu kesiminde yönetici olarak çalışan 284 kişi arasında yapılan bir çalışmayla sunulmaktadır. Çalışma neticesinde hizmetkâr liderlik modelinin çalışanların örgütsel bağlığını etkileyip etkilemediği; etkiliyorsa ne yönde etkilediği araştırılmaktadır. Hizmetkâr liderlik konusuna ilişkin son yıllara kadar yapılan çalışmalar genel itibariyle teorik olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada kullanılan uygulama bu konuyla ilgili son dönemde ortaya konulmuş deneysel bir uygulamadır. Bu sayede sonuçların daha somut olarak ortaya konulması ve hizmetkâr liderlik ile örgütsel bağlılık arasındaki ilişkinin farklı boyutlardaki ilişkisinin belirgin olarak ortaya çıkarılması hedeflenmiştir. Hizmetkâr liderlik ile örgütsel bağlılık arasındaki ilişkiyi inceleyen başka bir çalışmanın olmamasıbu araştırmanın önemini daha da artırmıştır. Yapılan çalışma neticesinde hizmetkâr liderlik ile örgütsel bağlılık arasındaki ilişkinin son derece önem arz ettiği tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma neticesinde yöneticilerin çalışanlarının ihtiyaç ve önceliklerine önem vermeleri gerektiği; özellikle güçlendirme konusunda onlara daha fazla fırsat tanımaları gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.
