Einf�hrung in die Statistiksoftware STATA

Abstract

STATA ist ein umfangreiches Programm zur statistischen Analyse (Siehe die Seite des Herstellers zu weiteren Informationen: www.stata.com) und liegt mittlerweile in Version 9 .0 vor. Ursp�nglich war STATA fast ausschliesslich befehlsgesteuert (etwa im Gegensatz zu SPSS), nur sehr wenige Funktionen (z.B. das �ffnen und das Speichern von Datens�tzen) liessen sich (auch) �ber Men�s aufrufen. Ab Version 8.0 k�nnen fast alle Befehle �ber das Men� aufrufen, das Arbeiten mit dem Men� wird aber nicht empfohlen, da die Programmsprache sehr einfach und intuitiv ist, was nach kurzer Zeit ein schnelles und exaktes Arbeiten erlaubt.
