Die Zukunft der Erwerbsarbeit: Thesen und Perspektiven für Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag ruft zunächst die bekannten Entwicklungstrends der Beschäftigten in Erinnerung, verknüpft diese mit möglichen Erklärungsmustern und zieht daraus allgemeine strategische Schlussfolgerungen für die Beschäftigungspolitik. Die statistischen Rahmendaten werden ganz konventionell in die 'Nachfrage' nach Arbeitskräften (Kapitel 1), in das 'Angebot' von Arbeitskräften (Kapitel 2) und in die arbeitsvertraglichen Beziehungen zwischen Angebot und Nachfrage (Kapitel 3) unterteilt. Im zweiten Teil wird gefragt, was die allgemeinen Trends für ein Bundesland wie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern bedeuten könnten, und welche Besonderheiten hier zu berücksichtigen sind. Struktur und Dynamik der Beschäftigung in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern werden mit der Gesamtentwicklung in der Bundesrepublik und Ostdeutschland verglichen. Bei der Frage, welche regionalen beschäftigungspolitischen Strategien Erfolg versprechen, gilt die besondere Aufmerksamkeit der Bedeutung von Netzwerken, wobei Beispiele aus Baden- Württemberg und Bayern hinzugezogen werden (Kapitel 4).
