Abstract

Die Haushaltsbefragung mit dem Titel 'Wassernutzung der privaten Haushalte in Leipzig – Einflussfaktoren der Wassernachfrage und Bedeutung der individuellen Wahrnehmung dieser Faktoren durch die Wassernutzer' wurde im Sommer 2002 in Kooperation der Helmholtz-Zentrum für Umweltforschung GmbH (UFZ)1 und der Kommunale Wasserwerke Leipzig GmbH (KWL) durchgeführt. Der vorliegende Bericht stellt die Ergebnisse der Studie wie folgt dar. Im 1. Kapitel wird das methodische Design der Leipzig-Studie vorgestellt. Anschließend werden in Kapitel 2 die forschungsleitenden Hypothesen zum Wasserverbrauch der privaten Haushalte in Leipzig sowie ihre Operationalisierung für die statistische Analyse dargelegt. Die Ergebnisse der Haushaltsbefragungen werden in Kapitel 3 unter Verwendung der Methoden der beschreibenden Statistik vorgestellt. In Kapitel 4 folgt die Beschreibung einer multivariaten mikroökonomischen Modellanalyse der Ergebnisdaten zur Ermittlung der Bedeutung einzelner Einflussfaktoren sowie zur Berechnung der Wassernachfrageelastizität der privaten Haushalte. Dieser Abschnitt schließt mit einer Zusammenfassung der Hauptergebnisse und wesentlicher Schlussfolgerungen. Im Anhang der Studie findet sich der für die Leipzig-Studie verwendete Fragebogen.
