Ressourcenkulturen messen, bewerten und verstehen: Ein Analyseansatz der Evolutorischen Theorie der Unternehmung

Abstract

In diesem Beitrag skizziere ich einen Zugang zum Messen, Bewerten und Verstehen betrieblicher Ressourcenkulturen. Ohne die Sinndimension ist jedes Messen und Bewerten sinnlos - vermutlich scheitern deshalb viele Messansätze. Die vorgestellte Analytik basiert auf unserer Theorie der Unternehmung, die daher ebenfalls kurz skizziert wird. Sie entwickeln wir in kritischer Auseinandersetzung mit bestehenden Unternehmens- und Managementtheorien, ihrer Geringschätzung von Arbeit, ihrem mangelnden Sinn für soziale Einbettung, und ihrer Konzeptionen von Wandel bzw. Wandlungsfähigkeit. Die Kultur von Unternehmen erfassen wir in den Dimensionen Ressourcen, Regeln und Sinn. Erst die Sinnebene macht verständlich, wie Ressourcen und Regeln gebraucht werden; hier geht es um den 'Geist' der jeweiligen Praktiken. Unsere Analytik bietet Kriterien, mit denen sich Organisationskulturen hinsichtlich Nachhaltigkeit und Sensitivität bzw. Achtsamkeit bewerten lassen; und mit Blick auf das Niveau an 'kritischem Geist' in ihnen, den wir als Kern von Wandlungsfähigkeit definieren.
