Ehrbarer Staat? Die Generationenbilanz. Update 2009: Wirtschaftskrise trifft Tragfähigkeit

Abstract

Deutschland befindet sich in der schwersten Wirtschaftskrise seit Gründung der Bundesrepublik. Spätestens seit Anfang 2009 steht außer Frage, dass das Bruttoinlandsprodukt in diesem Jahr deutlich schrumpfen wird. Wie wirken sich die Wirtschaftskrise und die Konjunkturpakete auf die langfristige Tragfähigkeit der öffentlichen Finanzen aus? Agiert die Politik in der Krise als "ehrbarer Staat"? Die vorliegende Publikation analysiert diese Fragen mit dem Instrument der Generationenbilanzierung.
