Entwicklung eines Studienformats für nichttraditionelle Zielgruppen an der Universität Rostock: Eine Fallstudie

Abstract

Als eine zentrale Herausforderung der in Bologna initiierten Öffnung von Hochschulen für Lebenslanges Lernen (LLL) gilt die Entwicklung bedarfsgerechter Studienformate. Gemäß der mit der Öffnung verbundenen Ansprache 'nicht-traditioneller Studierender' mit ihren spezifischen Merkmalen ergeben sich im Rahmen der Entwicklung neuer Studienformate für die neue Zielgruppe vielfältige Aufgaben für die Hochschulen, zu denen in Deutschland bisher noch wenige Erfahrungen vorliegen. Vor diesem Hintergrund war es einerseits das Ziel der vorliegenden Studie, den Entwicklungsprozess eines Studienformats für nicht-traditionelle Studierende zu rekonstruieren. Neben dem damit verbundenen Forschungsaspekt soll die vorliegende Studie zentralen Funktionsträgern der Universität Rostock im Sinne der Aktionsforschung die Möglichkeit bieten, den Entstehungsprozess eines Studienformats für neue Zielgruppen zu reflektieren. Damit ist die vorliegende Studie andererseits als Teil des Organisationsentwicklungsprozesses zur Implementierung von LLL an der Universität Rostock einzuordnen. Die Aufbereitung der Informationen erfolgte dabei in Form einer Fallstudie.
