Neuere Anwendungsfelder der Input-Output-Analyse: Beiträge zum Halleschen Input-Output-Workshop 2012

Abstract

Im März 2012 trafen sich Input-Output-Experten aus dem Bereich Forschung, Lehre und Statistik im deutschsprachigen Raum zum sechsten Mal am Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung Halle und stellten ihre neuesten Arbeiten zum Tabellenwerk der Input-Output-Analyse und neueren Anwendungen zur Diskussion. Der Veranstalter der Tagung hat aufgrund der Vielfalt der Themen das Motto des ersten Treffens im Jahr 2002 beibehalten und präsentiert die Beiträge wieder unter dem Titel 'Neuere Anwendungsfelder der Input-Output-Analyse'. Die Publikationsreihe umfasst mit dem vorliegenden Sonderheft bereits sechs Bände. Der neue Band enthält die aktualisierte Fassung der Vorträge, die auf dem Workshop vom 15. bis 16. März 2012 in Halle (Saale) zu vier thematischen Schwerpunkten gehalten und zur Veröffentlichung eingereicht worden sind oder nachgereicht wurden. Im ersten Schwerpunkt werden neue Aktivitäten zur Erstellung nationaler Input-Output-Tabellen und zu deren Erweiterung vorgestellt. Hier präsentieren R. Fremdling und R. Stäglin erstmalig ihre abschließende Input-Output-Tabelle für das Deutsche Reich im Jahr 1936. Sie umfasst 39 Sektoren, fünf Kategorien der Endnachfrage und fünf primäre Einsatzfaktoren. U.-P. Reich entwickelt einen Vorschlag zur Erweiterung der Standardversion einer Input-Output-Tabelle um eine Sozialrechnungsmatrix (social accounting matrix), mit der die Erfassung der Produktionsverflechtungen um die Verflechtung unterschiedlicher Lebenslagen von privaten Haushalten in Deutschland erweitert werden kann. J. Richter analysiert anhand der Input-Output-Tabellen für Österreich im Jahr 2007 den komplexen Aufbau der Datengrundlage in Form verschiedener Schichten von Informationen, arbeitet den Erkenntnischarakter der einzelnen Schichten heraus und stellt sie wie ein Gebirge dar. Das Kapitel wird abgerundet mit einem Beitrag zur Hochschullehre. Vor dem Hintergrund des institutionellen und technologischen Wandels in Markt- und Transformationswirtschaften bricht J.-M. Emmenegger eine Lanze für die Wiederbelebung und Entwicklung eines Curriculums mit dem Schwerpunkt Input- Output-Analyse. In Grundzügen entwirft er ein Stufenprogramm für das Studium an Hochschulen und Universitäten.
