Kleiner Begriffskanon der Mobilitätsforschung

Abstract

Die Verkehrswissenschaft lässt sich in zwei Forschungsstränge unterteilen: Zum einen der systemische Ansatz, der auf eine reibungslose Funktionsweise des Verkehrssystems gerichtet ist. Zum anderen ein subjektorientierter Ansatz, der sich den Verkehrsnutzern widmet. Beide Ansätze verfügen über wissenschaftliche Begriffe, die in vielen Fällen identisch sind, aber aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Betrachtungsweise des Untersuchungsgegenstands verschiedene Bedeutungen erlangen. Um zu einer begrifflichen Trennschärfe beizutragen, werden in der vorliegenden Arbeit Definitionen zentraler verkehrswissenschaftlicher Begriffe aus Sicht der am Verkehrsnutzer orientierten Mobilitätsforschung vorgestellt. Es erfolgt eine begründete Begriffsdefinition, die wissenschaftlich hergeleitet wird und damit für alle nachvollziehbar ist. Auf diese Weise soll eine fachlich fundierte Diskussion angeregt werden.
