Belastungs- und Gesundheitsmonitoring in der frühen Bildung: Erste Ergebnisse einer quantitativen Online-Befragung

Abstract

Das vorliegende Discussion-Paper befasst sich mit den psychischen Belastungen und Beanspruchungen frühpädagogischen Personals. Basierend auf den Daten der BGB-Kompass-Studie wurden mittels einer quantitativen Online-Befragung (Stichprobe nach Bereinigung: 804 Fachkräfte aus 13 Bundesländern) Belastungs- und Beanspruchungsfaktoren sowie Beanspruchungsfolgen hinsichtlich der körperlichen und psychischen Gesundheit untersucht. Die hier berichteten Ergebnisse zeigen ein breites Spektrum an Belastungsfaktoren und Beanspruchungserleben aus den Bereichen Arbeitsorganisation, Arbeitsaufgabe, soziale Interaktionen und räumliche Bedingungen auf. Besonders häufig berichten die Befragten von psychischen und psychosomatischen Beschwerden in Form von Übermüdung, Angespanntheit sowie Rücken-, Nacken- und Schulterschmerzen. Trotz einiger Einschränkungen (fehlende Repräsentativität, bislang noch fehlende Berechnung von weiterführenden Zusammenhangsanalysen) liefern die Ergebnisse einen ersten wertvollen Überblick über die Arbeitssituation von Kita-Fachkräften und möglicherweise damit einhergehenden gesundheitlichen Problemen. Ansätze für weiterführende Forschungsfragen und Hypothesen, die sich anhand der im Rahmen des BGB-Kompass erhobenen Daten untersuchen lassen, werden abschließend hergeleitet.
