Zur empirischen Analyse langer Zyklen wirtschaftlicher Entwicklung in Deutschland: Datenbasis und Berechnungsmethoden

Abstract

Das vorliegende Arbeitspapier stellt Datenbasis und Berechnungsmethoden für den Kieler Diskussionsbeitrag Nr. 55 dar, der sich mit dem Phänomen und den Ursachen langfristiger Wachstumszyklen im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland befaßt. Es enthält Angaben für folgende Indikatoren der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung: Reales Nettosozialprodukt im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, 1850-1977; Nominale Nettoinvestitionsquote in Deutschland bei wechselndem Gebietsstand, 1850 - 1977; Nettoinvestitionsvolumen im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, 1850 - 1977; Aktienrendite, Gewinnmarge und nicht entnommene Gewinne in Deutschland bei wechselndem Gebietsstand, 1926 - 1977; Nominale Außenhandelsquote in Deutschland bei wechselndem Gebietsstand, 1880 - 1977; Quote des öffentlichen Verbrauchs (ohne Verteidigung) in Deutschland bei wechselndem Gebietsstand, 1850 - 1977; Reallohnposition der Arbeitnehmer in Deutschland bei wechselndem Gebietsstand, 1925 - 1977. Es wird zunächst angegeben, wie die langen Reihen für die verschiedenen Indikatoren berechnet wurden, und auf welche Quellen sich die Berechnungen stützen. Danach werden die Methoden beschrieben, mit denen die langfristigen Zyklen der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung identifiziert wurden. Die Kriegs- und Nachkriegsjahre von 1914 - 1924 sowie von 1939 - 1949 werden stets außer Betracht gelassen.
