Die Einkommenssituation von Selbstständigen und die Inanspruchnahme staatlicher Leistungen auf Basis des SGB II

Abstract

Auf Grundlage des Panels Arbeitsmarkt und Soziale Sicherung wird in der vorliegenden Studie die Einkommenssituation von Selbstständigen untersucht. Im Blickpunkt stehen dabei nicht nur die sozio-ökonomischen Merkmale der Selbstständigen in der Grundsicherung, sondern auch mögliche Ursachen für den Arbeitslosengeld II-Bezug von Selbstständigen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen einerseits, dass der Haushaltskontext, Zeiten für Kinderbetreuung, aber auch gesundheitliche Einschränkungen zur Erklärung des ALG II-Bezugs von Selbstständigen beitragen. Andererseits spielen auch betriebswirtschaftliche Faktoren, wie eine unzureichende Ertragslage, eine wichtige Rolle. Da aber nur bedingt Informationen zu den von den Selbstständigen in der Grundsiche-rung geführten Unternehmen vorliegen, bedarf deren genauere Analyse weiterer Daten und Forschung.
