Welche Hilfen brauchen Alleinerziehende? Chancen kooperativer Dienstleistungen auf kommunaler Ebene

Abstract

Die Ergebnisse zeigen nicht grundsätzlich prekäre, sondern polarisierte Lebenslagen Alleinerziehender entlang der Faktoren Einkommen, Bildungsabschluss und der Integration in soziale Netzwerke. Vielfach prägen volatile soziale Unterstützungsstrukturen (Familie, Verwandte und Freunde) den Alltag Alleinerziehender. Alleinerziehende wünschen sich flexible Notfallhilfen, mehr Freizeitangebote für ihre Kinder, eine Bündelung der bestehenden Angebote sowie kompensatorische Leistungen in den Bereichen Ausbildung, Schule und Gesundheit. Die Kombination individueller Ressourcen, institutionalisierter Unterstützungsangebote und sozialer Netzwerkstrukturen (v.a. Familie, Verwandte, Freunde) ist entscheidend zur Absicherung und Stabilisierung der Familienform Alleinerziehend. Wirksame Hilfen erfordern kooperative Dienstleistungen, die die individuellen und professionellen Hilfesysteme verlässlich, flexibel und einzelfallorientiert miteinander kombinieren.
