Getreideproduktion in der Ukraine: eine komparative Analyse von Produktionskosten

Abstract

In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der Versuch unternommen, den Entwicklungsstand und die Wirtschaftlichkeit des wichtigsten Betriebszweigs vieler landwirtschaftlicher Unternehmen in der Ukraine, der Getreideproduktion, zu analysieren. Als methodisches Instrumentarium werden dabei die einzelbetriebliche Analyse sowie der horizontale Betriebsvergleich eingesetzt. Während die Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse in etablierten Marktwirtschaften ein traditionelles Konzept der Betriebsanalyse darstellt, liegen für das Agribusiness der Ukraine bislang nur sehr wenige Anwendungen vor. Zum großen Teil ist es mit der Nichtverfügbarkeit bzw. Unglaubwürdigkeit von einzelnbetrieblichen Daten verbunden. Insofern ist das Ziel der Arbeit, ein klassisches betriebswirtschaftliches Verfahren im Agrarsektor eines Transfor-mationslandes auf der Mikroebene einzusetzen. Die erzielten Ergebnisse zeigen, dass angesichts der Höhe der Produktionskosten bei einer faktorbezogenen Betrachtung keine größeren Unterschiede zwischen erfolgreichen und weniger erfolgreichen Betrieben feststellen lassen. Somit wird die These gestützt, dass die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Getreideproduktion in der Ukraine nicht nur durch niedrige Kosten bestimmt wird. Vielmehr muss die Unternehmensführung auf die Erzielung hoher Erträge ausgerichtet werden. Dabei muss ein konsequentes Kostenmanagement verfolgt werden, um in der Zukunft die Standortvorteile ukrainischer Großbetriebe besser auszunutzen und die Leistungsfähigkeit der Getreideproduktion ausschöpfen zu können.
