Der Diskurs um die Abwanderung Hochqualifizierter türkischer Herkunft in die Türkei

Abstract

Diskussionen um die Abwanderung türkischer Bildungsinländer aus Deutschland in die Türkei gewinnen in der Forschung, Politik und in den Medien zunehmend an Bedeutung und haben jüngst eine Kontroverse über ein mögliches Brain Drain ausgelöst (vgl. Jacobsen 2009, Flocke 2008). Neben ökonomischen und wissenschaftlichen Erwägungen geht es dabei zugleich um politische Überlegungen wie etwa nach der Einbindung von Hochqualifizierten türkischer Herkunft in das Gesellschaftssystem und ihrer Identifikation mit dem kulturellen Wertesystem in Deutschland.
