Der Einsatz strategischer Planung in der Kirche

Abstract

Strategische Planung in der Kirche? Darf man das denn? Geht das denn überhaupt? Kann man Verfahren aus der Wirtschaft einfach in eine andere Umgebung verpflanzen? Führt das nicht zu einer völligen Veränderung und Ökonomisierung der Kirche? So oder ähnlich lauten üblicherweise die Vorbehalte gegenüber der Adaption wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Methoden und Verfahren. Zwischenzeitlich wird sogar die Gefahr einer "McKinsey-Kirche" heraufbeschworen. Sicher, ein einfaches Überstülpen ökonomischer Ansätze auf andersgeartete Zusammenhänge, ob in der Sozialverwaltung oder anderswo, ist wenig hilfreich. Dennoch gibt es überzeugende Argumente für ein angelehntes Vorgehen.
