Ausbildungschancen von Jugendlichen mit Migrationshintergrund: Benachteiligung in betrieblichen Rekrutierungsprozessen vermeiden - Anregungen für Personalverantwortliche

Abstract

Angesichts der Benachteiligung von Hauptschüler*innen mit Migrationshintergrund auf dem Ausbildungsmarkt fragen wir nach den Mechanismen, die die Einstellungsentscheidung in den Betrieben bestimmen. Mithilfe quantitativer und qualitativer Methoden können wir exemplarisch aufzeigen, wie betriebliche Selektionskriterien Ausbildungschancen beeinflussen. Kriterien, die sich auf die Passung ins Team und auf die sprachliche Ausdrucksfähigkeit beziehen, sind mit ethnischen Zuschreibungen verknüpft und erweisen sich als besonders relevant beim Zugang zu dualen Ausbildungsplätzen.
