HauptschülerInnen auf dem Weg zur Ausbildung als ErzieherIn und AltenpflegerIn

Abstract

In den Berufsfeldern Altenpflege und Erziehung besteht ein Mangel an Fachkräften. Sowohl die Ausbildung zur Beruf der Fachkraft für Altenpflege als auch zur Erzieherin bzw. zum Erzieher setzen einen mittleren Bildungsabschluss voraus. Die vorliegende Studie geht der Frage nach, inwieweit Personen mit Hauptschulabschluss über die Ausbildung Kinderpflege/Sozialassistenz bzw. AltenpflegehelferIn für die Weiterbildung zur Fachkraft gewonnen werden können und welche Unterstützung der erhebliche Anteil derer, die eine Weiterqualifikation anstreben, benötigt.
