Bildung in fragilen Zeiten: Die Spirale transformativen Lernens

Abstract

Über Jahrhunderte pädagogischer Praxis hinweg schienen die Ziele der Bildung festgelegt. Sie wurden den Lernenden vorgegeben. In den Krisen der Gegenwart müssen Menschen jedoch lernen dürfen, individuelle und gesellschaftliche Ziele neu zu definieren und zu verwirklichen. Dafür aber braucht es ein neues, transformatives Verständnis von Lernen und den zentralen Akteur:innen von Bildung: den Lernenden. Vor diesem Hintergrund und im Rückgriff auf interdisziplinäre Forschungszusammenhänge entwickeln wir im vorliegenden Beitrag eine transformative Lerntheorie, prägnant zusammengefasst in der "Spirale transformativen Lernens". In ihr werden drei Lernbereiche - neu sein, neu denken, neu handeln - einer neuen transformativen Bildung systematisch integriert und in der Form neun transformativer Fähigkeiten konkretisiert. Der neue Ansatz ist sowohl für den Fachdiskurs zum transformativem Lernen wie auch für Lehrende verschiedenster Fächer und Themenbereiche von Relevanz. Er wurde explizit so offen entwickelt, dass er für konkrete Transformationsarenen und -thematiken zugespitzt, bzw. angepasst werden kann.
