Der Bildungsmonitor 2011: Ein Indikator für Bildungsgerechtigkeit?

Abstract

Dem Trend zu aggregierten Systembenchmarks folgend soll der Bildungsmonitor 2011 neben Wachstums- und Effizienzaspekten auch die "Bildungsgerechtigkeit" in den Bildungssystemen der deutschen Bundesländer abbilden. Daher sieht er sich einer Kritik nicht nur der allgemeinen Sinnhaftigkeit und Durchführbarkeit von Vergleichen komplexer Systeme, sondern auch der Operationalisierung von Gerechtigkeit ausgesetzt. In dieser Stellungnahme wird argumentiert, dass die scheinbar aussagekräftigen Ergebnisse des vorliegenden Monitoring-Ansatz nur zulasten einer instruktiven Präzision und im Rahmen eines sehr defensiven Verständnisses von "Bildungsgerechtigkeit" erreicht werden konnten.
