Eine Dekade wirtschaftlicher Transformation in den Westbalkanstaaten: Ein Überblick

Abstract

Die vorliegende Arbeit analysiert die Fortschritte der Transformation hin zu sozialen Marktwirtschaften aus Sicht der Unternehmen, indem wir aufzeigen inwiefern es den betrachteten Ländern gelungen ist, ein nachhaltig stabiles Wirtschaftsumfeld zu generieren. Als besonders bedeutsam in diesem Zusammenhang erweisen sich politische und wirtschaftliche Stabilität, die Beschaffenheit des Steuersystems und des Kapitalmarktes sowie Faktoren, die die Rechtssicherheit und die Transparenz betreffen. Abschließend wird ersichtlich sein, dass es den Ländern der Region dahingehend bisher nicht gelungen ist, ein umfassend positives Wirtschafts- und Investitionsklima zu schaffen.
