Territoriale Evolution von Kooperation in einem Gefangenendilemma

Abstract

Das Gefangenendilemma gilt als Standardmodell mit dessen Hilfe das Phänomen Kooperation dargestellt und analysiert werden kann, auch in der ökonomischen Forschung. Besonders interessant an diesem Spiel ist, daß die Lösung (das eindeutige Nashgleichgewicht) nicht pareto-effizient ist und Kooperation eine Pareto-Verbesserung darstellen würde. Für die beteiligten Spieler gibt es also eine bessere Situation als die gleichgewichtige, diese kann aber aus individualistischen Gründen nicht erreicht werden. Das Gefangenendilemma wird als Beschreibung vieler ökonomischer und nicht-ökonomischer Situationen interpretiert (Axelrod 1984). Die ökonomischen Interpretationen reichen von oligopolistischen Marktstrukturen (etwa Rasmusen 1989) bis zur Problemdarstellung öffentlicher Güter (etwa Hargreaves Heap 1994). Nicht-ökonomische Interpretationen findet man etwa im Bereich der biologischen Literatur zur Evolution (etwa Axelrod und Hamilton 1981).
