Impacto de la pandemia del COVID-19 en los sistemas de movilidad urbana de América Latina

Abstract

Las medidas de prevención contra el covid-19 pueden transformar la movilidad urbana. Las medidas de aislamiento preventivo reducen el movimiento de los ciudadanos y pueden cambiar los hábitos de los ciudadanos. ¿Qué efecto pueden tener estas nuevas modalidades en el largo plazo? ¿Estamos ante un punto de inflexión en el ecosistema de movilidad urbana? Para abordar estos interrogantes el CEPE conformó un panel de expertos en movilidad y urbanismo y, a través del método Delphi, les hizo una serie de preguntas relacionadas con la pandemia. El presente documento analiza cómo cambian las expectativas de los expertos respecto de la movilidad urbana en las ciudades emergentes de América Latina a partir de la pandemia de coronavirus.
