Abstract

Le concept de coût d'opportunité économique découle de la reconnaissance du fait que lorsque des ressources sont utilisées pour un projet, les opportunités d'utilisation de ces ressources sont sacrifiées ailleurs. En règle générale, lorsque des travailleurs sont embauchés dans le cadre d’un projet, ils abandonnent un ensemble d’activités marchandes et non marchandes pour un ensemble alternatif. les travailleurs, y compris les coûts (ou avantages) non liés au marché associés au changement d’emploi. Lors de la détermination de l’EOCL, il est important de se rappeler que le travail n’est pas un intrant homogène. C’est peut-être le facteur de production le plus diversifié de toutes les économies. Dans ce chapitre, nous examinerons comment est calculé l’EOCL dans une économie comportant des marchés pour de nombreux types de professions différentes, avec des variations par région en fonction de la qualité des emplois Agréable, désagréable, permanent, temporaire, etc.) qui affectent les EOCL utilisés par un projet.
