Abstract

Serbian. English. Economic relations, especially foreign trade relations, between Serbia and Romania at the beginning of the 21st century are characterized by stability, but relatively low intensity of exchange. Both countries in general have a deficit in foreign trade with the world, but in the mutual exchange there is a surplus on the side of Serbia. Although Romania takes one of the leading positions among the foreign trade partners of Serbia, its share in the total export of Serbia is only about 5.5%, while Serbia's import is slightly below 3%, which indicates that there is many possibilities for improvement. The paper analyzes the structure of the exchange and suggests possible directions of its increase.
