A adaptação da firma ao ambiente internacional de negócios

Abstract

Este trabalho versa sobre a importância da adaptação da firma ao ambiente de negócios internacional (IBE). A adaptação é considerada como um processo dinâmico e direcionado internamente que leva à firma a co-evoluir com o ambiente externo. A habilidade de adaptar-se a diferentes ambientes internacionais de negócios é desenvolvida ao longo do tempo pelas experiências da firma e construída nas suas rotinas. Sugere-se que a adaptação incorpora tanto os elementos da estratégia planejada como uma variação aleatória na procura por picos locais, dado a racionalidade limitada, imperfeição de informação e o atual conjunto de recursos e capacitações. A habilidade de adaptação ao ambiente é uma potencial fonte de vantagem competitiva para a corporação multinacional.
