O relacionamento bancário e o financiamento das PME: Uma revisão da literatura

Abstract

Dadas as conhecidas insuficiências da informação contabilística nas PME, e em particular nas MPE, o relacionamento bancário tem vindo a assumir um papel primordial no processo de avaliação do risco de crédito bancário. No entanto, apesar de se reconhecer de uma forma geral a importância do relacionamento bancário no crédito às PME, a investigação realizada não é consensual quanto aos seus verdadeiros efeitos em termos de viabilidade e condições das operações de financiamento para as PME.
