Como rever um artigo: O papel do revisor e um roteiro para novos revisores

Abstract

Neste artigo abordo uma questão que é fundamental à qualidade dos artigos publicados nos periódicos em Administração (e, previsivelmente, em todas as áreas do conhecimento) que é a revisão do manuscrito pelos pares. Especificamente abordo como fazer uma revisão, discutindo brevemente alguns aspectos que os revisores precisam ter em consideração. Direciono o texto para jovens pesquisadores e estudantes de doutorado que são expostos pela primeira vez à necessidade de avaliar trabalhos para periódicos e eventos. O objetivo é, assim, de ajudar a melhorar o processo de revisão discutindo um pouco o processo, mas mais especialmente proporcionando um roteiro, ou conjunto de "dicas", que estudantes de doutorado e jovens pesquisadores recém-doutores podem seguir para fazer avaliações com maior qualidade.
