Relations enseignants-élèves : quelle incidence sur le bien-être des élèves à l'école ?

Abstract

Dans les pays de l’OCDE, quatre élèves sur cinq se disent d’accord ou tout à fait d’accord avec l’affirmation « Je me sens bien à l’école » ou « Je me sens chez moi à l’école ». Les relations enseignants-élèves sont étroitement liées à la fois à la performance des élèves en mathématiques et à leur sentiment de bien-être et d’appartenance à l’école. En moyenne, dans les pays de l’OCDE, 71 % des élèves fréquentent un établissement dont le directeur indique que les enseignants accordent autant d’importance à l’épanouissement social et affectif de leurs élèves qu’à leur réussite scolaire
