    Abstract

This book presents part of the papers presented at the International Conference 'The European Entrepreneurship in the Globalizing Economy Challenges and Opportunities' held in Varna, Bulgaria, on 9 - 12 September 2008. The rest of the papers are published in a separate book by Edward Elgar Publishing. The papers are presented in the following thematic directions: - Starting and Growing a New Venture - Innovation, Marketing, and Entrepreneurial Networks - Entrepreneurship and Regional Development - Different Aspects of Entrepreneurship The accents in the papers are on the ‘hot topics’ of the European entrepreneurship, mostly in the countries with newly established market economy - Central and Eastern Europe. The entrepreneurship in these countries is considered as a main engine of the changes and their development. In this context, the conference’s outcomes have not only scientific but also a certain practical character.
