Evolução Do Espaço Destinado À Automóveis Em Relação A Área Total Construída Dos Edifícios De São Paulo

Abstract

Este trabalho estabelece as equações e calcula o quociente entre o espaço destinado à automóveis e a área total construída e privativa das edificações residenciais e comerciais, desde 1985 em São Paulo.A intenção é visualizar a evolução desta curva ao longo dos anos na cidade e analisar a tendência de sua evolução para os próximos 10 anos.Este indicador é importante pois: 1-Quando analisada sua evolução histórica, desde 1930 (quando os edifícios começaram a destinar áreas para o estacionamento de automóveis) até os dias de hoje, pode-se visualizar o comportamento da curva resultante deste índice ao longo do tempo, e discutir uma possível tendência futura; 2-É um dos parâmetros que podem ser relacionados à poluição atmosférica e emissão de gases de efeito estufa (GEE); 3-Pode ser utilizado como parâmetro de referência, para a elaboração de planejamento de infraestrutura e políticas públicas, bem como para a concepção de empreendimentos que serão produzidos num médio e longo prazo, pela indústria imobiliária e pelo poder público; 4-Pode se tornar um dos indicadores para a avaliação da sustentabilidade das cidades; 5-Em conjunto com a relação entre área para garagens e frota, poderá ser verificada a evolução do espaço médio destinado aos automóveis nos próximos anos, caso este tamanho diminua, devido ao aumento do número de veículos urbanos pessoais, mais compactos, com capacidade apenas para uma ou duas pessoas.
