Abstract

This paper presents Disability Free Life Expectancy (DFLE) at the national level for the years 2004, 2005 y 2006, and at the regional level (NUTS 2) by pooling the information of these three years from the European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) survey. This is the survey used by Eurostat for elaborating his structural indicator for all European Union member countries. In this way we explore the possibility of elaborating this healthy indicator at a given periodicity and at the regional (NUTS 2) level for Spain.
