Macchinari del made in Italy e dinamiche dei distretti industriali

Abstract

Nel saggio si affronta la questione della rispecializzazione produttiva delle imprese italiane. Tramite un’accurata analisi dei Censimenti Industriali 1991-2001 si vuole appurare se nei distretti industriali dei quattro comparti chiave del made in Italy vi sia stato uno spostamento di addetti dalla produzione di beni finali a quella dei relativi beni strumentali. In secondo luogo, si verifica se la rispecializzazione in discorso abbia favorito la crescita dimensionale d’impresa. Mostreremo che il fenomeno della rispecializzazione si è manifestato tra il 1991 e il 2001 con intensità modesta, tuttavia ha dato un contributo positivo all’occupazione e alla crescita dimensionale delle imprese.
