Abstract

Working paper on trade structure, employment and industrialization trends and prospects in Singapore - examines the contribution of economic policies, labour policies, educational policies and foreign enterprise to economic growth, and discusses industrial structure, industrial development (partic. Textile industry, clothing industry and electronics industry), labour force participation, trade unionism, etc. References and statistical tables.
