How child labour was eradicated in the USSR: integrating school and society

Abstract

Working paper on the eradication of child labour and the evolution of youth policy in the USSR - comments on labour legislation concerning the minimum age and employment conditions of young workers, and covers the institution of compulsory education, the social integration of youth, improvement of access to education, growth trends in enrolment in secondary education, development of vocational training, etc. Bibliography pp. 27 and 28 and references.
