Abstract

ILO pub-wep pub. Working paper on rural area industrialization and rural industry in China - gives historical background, examines role of small scale industries and handicrafts in overall economy, discusses employment creation, ownership and control, wage policy, wage incentives, fringe benefits, trade unions, marketing, etc., And compares experiences with those of India.
