Consumer information from public and private sources: some Canadian results

Abstract

ILO pub-wep pub. Working paper comparing the efficiency of private sector and public sector information sources on consumer goods in Canada - examines relationships between consumer testing organizations, price and quality standard in the USA and Canada with respect to pharmaceuticals and other products, and finds utility in both approaches.
