Abstract

"Start-ups are important for economic growth and economic change. Particularly in innovation driven countries like Germany, newly founded firms create new jobs and foster competition. Because start-ups are mainly regional events, the main focus of this report lies on regional differences of start-up activities in Germany." (Author's abstract, IAB-Doku) ((en))
