Abstract

Qu'apporte l'analyse sociologique des universités comme organisations à la connaissance de la transformation des disciplines qui les composent? La présente contribution suggère une boîte à outils analytique. Elle caractérise les universités comme étant des organisations relevant d'un type spécifique. A titre d'illustration elle applique cette approche à la transformation des disciplines académiques : pourquoi l'interdisciplinarité est-elle appropriée de façon très dissemblable par les institutions d'enseignement supérieur et de recherche, comme le montrent les recherches menées dans le cadre du projet supervisé par l'IFRIS et financé par l'ANR sur la "production de la qualité académique ".
