Abstract

Les prix des travaux de rénovation énergétique du secteur résidentiel privé présentent une forte dispersion en France. Cette dispersion est inhérente à la nonstandardisation des chantiers du résidentiel privé. Elle s'explique par : des raisons techniques propres aux travaux, des raisons liées à la gestion des entreprises et le coût de la coordination entre l'offre et la demande. Cette situation n'est pas exceptionnelle en Europe. Les prix ne sont pas plus transparents ailleurs et pas systématiquement moins élevés. Partout, la question de la qualité se trouve au coeur des difficultés de massification de la rénovation énergétique performante. En conséquence, le levier de massification de la rénovation énergétique est moins le prix .même s'il demeure un levier6 que la coordination de la rencontre entre l'offre et la demande, ce qui suppose de traiter deux sujets majeurs : · La définition des travaux à mener et la maturation de la demande, aujourd'hui largement opérés par les artisans et entreprises lors de la réalisation du devis, ce qui a un coût significatif. · La garantie de qualité des travaux, alors que les malfaçons et insatisfactions freinent le lancement de travaux par les ménages ou conduisent ces derniers à accepter des prix élevés.
