L'évaluation des retombées économiques locales de la dépense de défense

Abstract

La dépense de la défense impacte fortement le développement économique territorial. Pour autant, il n'existe pas aujourd'hui de consensus sur la nature et l'importance de ses effets. Cela peut s'expliquer par la variété des méthodes qui ont été utilisées en économie. La littérature en dénombre cinq (BRADDON, 1995 ; DROFF et PALOYO, 2015) : (i) le multiplicateur keynésien régional, (ii) le multiplicateur de la base économique, (iii) le multiplicateur entrées-sorties, (iv) les approches économétriques, (v) les études de cas et les méthodes hybrides. Cet article a pour but de comparer ces méthodes, en étudiant leur construction, leurs apports, leurs limites, ainsi que la fiabilité de leurs résultats.
