Capitalisme cognitif et revenu social garanti comme revenu primaire

Abstract

Dans l'évolution de la pensée de André Gorz, le dialogue avec les tenants operaïstes de la problématique du general intellect, puis de la thèse du capitalisme cognitif, marque un tournant important, et ce tant pour ce qui concerne sa réflexion sur la crise du capitalisme que sur la manière d'en penser la sortie. Il existe un lien étroit entre les thématiques du general intellect du capitalisme cognitif et la manière de justifier et de concevoir la proposition de revenu social garanti (RSG). Sur ces bases, dans l'esprit d'un dialogue vivant et ouvert avec la réflexion de André Gorz qui anime ce colloque, cette contribution sera articulée en deux parties. Dans la première, il s'agira de rappeler schématiquement certains fondements théoriques essentiels qui, à notre avis , permettent de caractériser le sens et l'originalité de la proposition de RSG à l'aune de la thèse du capitalisme cognitif. Dans cette démarche, nous verrons également comment si sur certains points de cette caractérisation il existe indiscutablement un rapport de continuité et de convergence avec l'héritage de Gorz, sur d'autres la question est beaucoup plus ouverte et contradictoire. Dans la seconde partie, nous nous attarderons logiquement sur la nature de ces divergences qui concernent en particulier la façon de concevoir le revenu garanti comme revenu primaire et d'en justifier le caractère inconditionnel.
