Abstract

Depuis 2007, les pays occidentaux connaissent une crise sans précédent, dont nul ne connaît précisément l'issue. Aujourd'hui, avec le recul, une douzaine d'économistes, de juristes, de hauts fonctionnaires fait le point sur cette crise, en analysant ses facteurs, ses spécificités ainsi que les réactions des autorités afin d'en tirer les leçons. Décrivant sa singularité par rapport aux crises passées, ce livre explore le rôle joué par les politiques économiques et monétaires, les organismes internationaux, la coopération entre États et les organisations régionales dans l'évolution du phénomène. Étudiant aussi bien l'Europe que le Sud-Est asiatique, les Nations unies que l'Organisation mondiale du commerce, les auteurs présentent les principaux enseignements à tirer de la crise économique mondiale en développant des analyses historiques, politiques, institutionnelles ou économiques, et nous livrent un regard éclairant sur le contexte mondial actuel.
